Test et témoignages produits Thermequin

Field tests were proposed between August 20, 2018 and October 15, 2018 in different stables in England to evaluate the effectiveness of Thermequin products.

Dead Sea Mud and its cream.

Before that, both products were at the LGC laboratory in Newmarket, England and we obtained certification attesting that our products were indeed free of substances prohibited by the FEI and the BHA.

The horses selected are of different ages, breeds and disciplines, including racehorses, showjumpers, dressage, hunting horses and leisure horses.

Thermequin for Racehorses

We decided to test 5 flat racehorses in this stable of 30 racehorses.

We selected those that had significant problems with engorgement and needed bandages every evening.

We used Thermequin Mud.

The trainer confirmed that the legs were much cleaner with the mud than normal, especially after races and fast training.

No horses had any skin problems or small injuries that we could have tested the cream on, so we left it for them.

A few weeks later, the trainer told us that he had continued to use the mud and had tested the cream. He was delighted with the results and told us that he had used both products and that he had found both very good!

LIV

16 year old Dutch sport horse. Discipline: Dressage, Grand Prix level.

Owner: B.Tilton.

He suffers from engorgement and sensitivity in his limbs.

We used the Thermequin Mud with bandage at night.

The next day the limbs were very clean and fresh.

The owner was very pleased with the results and how easy it was to apply and remove the Mud.

AMMO

10 year old German sport horse. Discipline: Dressage.

Ammo had a problem with thrush and thrush that dragged on for years.

The vet had to remove some of the infected tissue under anesthesia.

After that the owner had to do a lot of treatments recommended by her vet and her farrier to clean up the foot. But the feet still seemed to have an infection with all the symptoms of thrush (odor, sensitivity, etc.). We weren’t sure we could guarantee the result, but we tried Thermequin Mud under the front feet and Thermequin Cream on the hind feet to evaluate the results.

Every night for 4 days, we applied the products under the foot and then bandaged the foot to keep the foot and the products clean, then rinsed every morning. After this period, we found that the Mud was more effective on this type of problem, although the cream had also improved. So we continued for 10 nights.

After this period, we noticed that the smell had disappeared, the frog was firmer and healthier, and most importantly Ammo no longer had this sensitivity to touch or walking. We advised to continue the foot wraps until the next visit of the farrier who will be able to trim and clean the foot, and to continue for another ten days after his visit.

We had news in November 2018, several weeks after the start of the test and were delighted to learn that Ammo’s feet were transformed and that the farrier was very surprised by the results given that these types of severe fungal infections are very difficult to eradicate.
