When to use a massage balm on your horse

Before work

On the large muscle groups: tamanu oil tones the circulation with a gentle warming effect.

After work

On the areas that worked hardest, to limit soreness and keep the muscles supple.

Stiffness and sprains

Arnica and shea butter are traditionally used on sprains and stiffness.

Joint discomfort and arthritis

Andiroba, used in the Amazon against joint pain, is the heart of the formula.

Tension spots found while grooming

A warm spot under your hand: a dab and two minutes of massage.

How to use a massage balm on your horse

A dab is all it takes: the balm extends the mechanical effect of massage by boosting circulation.

  1. Take

A dab of balm per area.

  2. Massage

Two minutes of massage on the area: large muscle groups, an area that worked hard, or a tension spot found while grooming.

  3. Choose the moment

Before work, as a warm-up, for its gentle warming effect; after work, to limit soreness and keep the muscles supple.

Storage: a blend of butter, precious oil and oil macerate, the balm should be kept somewhere cool (below 20 °C), away from air and light.
